How to reach the event

From airport:
The closest local airport is Erfurt but most international flights operate from Frankfurt or Berlin as the nearest airports.
From the airport take a train to reach Jena; to look for train connections and book tickets online visit the website of the Deutsche Bahn. Jena has two main stations (West and Paradies), both close to the city center; type in "JENA" in capitals when looking for connections to be shown trains going to either station.

From railway station:
The hotel is less than 10 min walking from the train station Jena Paradies and walking is the best way to get there (even though there are taxis available at the station). Walking from Jena West to the hotel takes only slightly longer; you can consider taking a bus (1 stop from the railway station to the city center) or a taxi if your legs are tired.

By car:
If you plan to travel by car please inform us in advance - parking is limited both at the hotel and the scientific venue and cannot be guaranteed!
